Job Description:
Responsible for providing tactical technical product support for the Single Channel tactical radio product line, to include the AN/PRC-117G (RF-7800M), AN/PRC-152A, AN/PRC-152, and RF-325. Will be expected to become the subject matter expert for the Single Channel Handheld and Manpack products. Partnering with peers across the product lines will be an essential task in understanding how your product line interoperates with the rest of the L3Harris Tactical Communications product suites.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Investigates customer requirements for product applications, researches accessories and external applications for compatibility with company product offerings and makes recommendations on applicability.
• Prepares detailed product specifications/responses with the offering managers to Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Proposals (RFP).
• Maintains integrity/consistency of product documentation including product specs, data sheets and brochures.
• Creates application notes to facilitate proper fielding and application of equipment.
• Participation in trade shows, demos and field trials.
• Supports the identification and troubleshooting of identified field issues and product service returns.
• Participation in regular reviews of product line operations, trouble report reviews and development status meetings.
• Support and develop applicable training materials for new products, features and functionality for your product area.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience in the use and application of tactical radio equipment in customer-relevant environments
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-stakes environment
• Travel: 50% or more, including international travel
• Comfortable performing competitive analysis through hands on evaluation of products, waveforms and accessories
• Ability to clearly and concisely articulate key findings and recommendations to leadership
• Ability/experience with managing Type 1 assets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of tactical radio product line and practical knowledge of project management. May manage projects or processes with general supervision. Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret technical product information, operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Support product life cycle processes, practices and procedures. Recommends enhancements to both current and future products, systems, and processes.
• Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
• Experience with sales, front-end of the business, Face-to-Face customer interactions.
• Military service/background, preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft office product suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with RF tactical communication networks - radios, waveforms and applications, wireless networking, IP network management and routing
• Comfortable with closely partnering with co-workers for cross training and joint efforts
• This position may require the candidate to be able to obtain a security clearance
