Guideline is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Product team reporting to the Product Lead for B2B.

What will you be working on?

The Senior Product Manager will drive product development for our core small business 401(k) compliance product.  In this role you will: 

• Define and deliver the roadmap for the core “regtech” components of our 401(k) product offering.  This product area covers high-impact customer and internal product work, including delivering predictive insights to clients to help them stay compliant with government regulations, helping our clients maximize the benefits they can deliver their employees, and building internal tools for our customer-facing teams to respond to client needs more quickly.
• Partner with Design, Engineering, Data, and Product Strategy to build delightful, impactful products
• Build relationships across Account Management and Operations teams to understand the product needs of our customers and internal teammates
• Partner with Legal & Compliance to translate complex regulatory requirements into user-centric jobs to be done
• Ensure seamless launches of major features for our 20,000+ clients and incorporate customer feedback into the product roadmap by working directly with stakeholders and with our Product Operations team
• Own and monitor product-level KPIs, iterating post-launch to drive greater impact
• Document decisions to allow for broader company learning and iteration opportunities

The Team

The PM team works cross-functionally to build user-facing and internal products that delight our customers and help us realize our mission of creating a retirement Americans can look forward to.  We’re a lean group based in the Bay Area and Austin, with plans to grow across all levels in the coming years. 

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in Product Management
• Excellent problem solving skills and an ability to apply rigorous analytical thinking to ambiguous business problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to convey insights to audiences of varying backgrounds
• Strong desire to work cross-functionally, partnering with stakeholders across the company
• Comfortable working on both user-facing and back-end technical products
• Proficiency in SQL and data analytics
• Background in fintech, regtech, or HR-tech a plus
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field a plus
