Role Description: 

Swyft is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Technical to join our Product team. We are looking for a highly-motivated and enthusiastic senior product leader. You will be joining a fast growing, quickly evolving organization, where the ability to wear many hats and help out on many projects will be crucial. You have a track record of moving fast, diving deep, maintaining high operational excellence and using analytics to drive results.

As the first technical PM hire you will be leading the development marketplace products (either for merchants or independent courier businesses).

Your Responsibilities: 

  • You will be the voice of one side of our 2-sided marketplace (merchants or couriers) internally and externally, championing products and services that create value 
  • You will design and draft specs for all the marketplace products and lead the engineering team to delivering best-in-class products
  • You will investigate the current landscape for fleet management software that DSPs rely on today OR build the most intuitive, frictionless shipping experience for brands and retailers
  • You bring an attitude of "ship fast vs. ship perfectly" 
  • You will own the go-to-market and adoption of products / services that you build by working closely with Sales and the Marketplace team
  • You will measure and track the launch and maintenance of your products, always striving for frequent improvements 

About You: 

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering preferred  
  • Curiosity to learn and a willingness to adapt to new environments 
  • 7+ years in technical product management
  • Experience working at a fast-growing startup (preferably marketplaces) 
  • Experience with Adobe Design, Invision, Canva, Figma and other design tools 

Objectives First 60 Days (Supply PM): 

  • You will have completed 2 delivery routes of your own, putting yourselves in the shoes of our courier partners
  • You will have completed 5 days running the marketplace operation using our existing tools and products
  • You will have become well-versed to our technology stack, applications and 3rd party integrations 
  • You will have interviewed at least 5 of our courier partners ("DSPs") to deeply understand their pain points and challenges 
  • You will finish drafting the first spec for the launch of the Swyft returns service

Objectives First 60 Days (Demand PM): 

  • You will have completed 2 delivery routes of your own, putting yourselves in the shoes of our merchants
  • You will have completed 5 days running the CX service desk responding to our shoppers and merchants inquiries
  • You will have become well-versed to our technology stack, applications and 3rd party integrations 
  • You will have interviewed at least 5 of our merchants to deeply understand their pain points and challenges 
  • You will finish drafting the first spec for the launch of your first demand-side product
