THE CHALLENGE

Are you excited about leveraging technology to bring the world together through live experiences? Would you be proud to build tools to help anyone and everyone create, share, find, and attend events that fuel their passions and enrich their lives?

Over the last decade, we have built a world-class software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for event organizers, enabling millions of events globally. In the process, we have touched millions of consumers, helping them get together, explore their interests, and pursue their passions through live experiences.

We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced technical product manager who can deliver the product perspective that our Engineering Support teams need to enable superlative developer performance and product quality across Eventbrite.

We are looking for a PM to shape the vision and guide the delivery of resources we will create to ease the creation, management, and support of microservices. This PM will be involved with both the platform we are building to support Eventbrite’s future architecture and our ongoing evolution from our legacy monolith.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to convey complex requirements in a clear, concise and credible manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Experience creating functional and technical specifications

  • Solid computer science foundational knowledge
  • Experience working with a very technical team on developer-facing products
  • Familiarity with microservice architectures and associated infrastructure
  • Understanding of DevOps tools and technologies such as: Git, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Sentry, DataDog, and Docker Experience with Site Reliability Engineering and QA
  • Knowledge of cloud computing fundamentals and distributed microservices architectures
  • Strong technical background and ability to contribute to architectural and infrastructure discussions

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience with Amazon cloud technologies, particularly for multi-account strategies
  • Experience with CI/CD systems
  • Experience managing codebases, build systems, and release tools
  • Speaking/organizing in the community
  • Active Eventbrite user with a passion for live events
