ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Product Manager of Analytics is an integral part of the future success of our business. Our clients want clothes that will help them look and feel their best -- without the burden of sifting through thousands of items that don’t. You will be a senior member of the Product Analytics team, working to define the structure and tools with which we measure and monitor product success at Stitch Fix. You will drive the analytics product roadmap, define and monitor the metrics that best measure the customer experience and are most impactful to the business. The role reports into the Director of Product Analytics.

WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE… 

  • At least 6 years of product management experience with a focus on product analytics, and business intelligence at a high-growth tech company 
  • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to produce instrumentation requirements to generate insightful measurements on our new and existing products. 
  • 2+ years of prior experience in an Analytics role in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with a Business Intelligence tool like Looker, Tableau, Redash, Mode, Power BI, Qlik, Periscope, etc
  • Exceptional coding skill in SQL, familiarity with Python
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence/Analytics data modeling and visualization best practices and techniques. Working understanding of database and data infrastructure principles
  • Ruthless prioritization skills in the face of competing priorities. 
  • Demonstrated experience in transforming the complex into simple, meaningful, and strategic product milestones  
  • Sound business judgement and can easily communicate a business case for a new opportunity
  • You are extremely data driven and have extensive experience collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and product managers
  • A strong sense of ownership, can roll up your sleeves and drive end to end product development 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmaps and business decisions with data. 
  • Exceptional communication skills that allow you to effectively distill highly complex data analyses for non-technical business leaders. 
  • Reputation as a collaborative team member who can work cross-functionally, especially with product and technical leaders.
  • Willingness to ask the tough questions and surface the unwelcome or controversial insights, and be unbiased in where the data leads.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, computer science) preferred
