Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience coding with a general purpose programming language (ie. Java, C/C , Python).
  • Experience working with web technologies including, but not limited to: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and HTTP.
  • Customer-facing experience translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, MBA, or equivalent practical experience, including 5 years in internet products and technologies.
  • Experience in technical sales, field sales, sales engineering, or consulting with excellent business knowledge.
  • Experience in applications development and building and launching a customer facing product.
  • Knowledge of SQL/MySQL.
  • Ability to adapt messages to the technical level of the audience and present technical materials to large groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.

gTech's Product and Tools Operations team (gPTO) leverages deep user, operational, and technical insights to innovate Google's Ads products into customer experiences that are so intuitive (or automated) that they require no support at all. gPTO partners closely with gTech's Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering teams to innovate and simplify our Ads products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.

As a Product Solutions Engineer, you will be the connection between technical support, consulting, and Product Management, Engineering, and Global Sales stakeholders. You will join a team that is a single point of contact/accountability for gTech to our product and sales counterparts for the success of the product life cycle. From design and conceptualization to early piloting and wide-scale deployment, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google advertising, analytics and platform products You will develop product and technical strategy as well as prioritize projects to assist our account management teams and partners.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum salary range between $98,000 - $106,000 bonus equity benefits.
*Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for end-to-end incubation and implementation of alpha and beta products and solutions.
  • Define and develop internal and externally used technical tools and solutions by writing quality code and documentation and improve product serviceability and customer/user experience. Collaborate with Engineering to thoroughly test all use-cases and commercialize solutions.
  • Provide product solution improvement and scaling opportunities to Product Management and Engineering based on early customer feedback and develop fast prototyping solutions.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external advertisers and partners to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions.
