What You'll Do:

We are looking for a skilled Product Manager who is an innovative thinker and able to take end-to-end ownership over the features and user experience of our mobile and desktop ecommerce stores, both in the US and in the UK. As a Product Manager, you will have responsibility for understanding consumer behavior through analytics, creating a product vision and feature roadmap, writing user stories and working with a Technical Project Manager to implement the roadmap with our team of software engineers.

This role reports to the VP of Marketing. Extensive experience with online consumer-facing products (whether websites or mobile apps) and demonstrated ecommerce expertise is a must. Other requirements are the ability to collaborate with a team, strong communication skills, a passion for and knowledge of technology and user experience, and a quantitative focus. You will own the user experience and feature development for iseeme.com and bookofus.com in the US and iseeme.com in the UK.

  • Develop and evolve business and product strategy for our mobile and desktop ecommerce stores in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment
  • Maintain the product backlog and manage the process of prioritizing new features
  • Define and execute the development roadmap with the help of both local and overseas developers
  • Manage and ensure the high-quality execution of initiatives from conception through delivery, including gathering requirements, defining business rules, crafting user flows and writing functional specs and user stories
  • Work with the engineering and design teams to estimate, implement and build features and ensure that we're always working on the highest-priority projects
  • Be analytics obsessed for our brands, draw conclusions about pain points and needed improvements to incorporate into a backlog that results in revenue-based prioritized development
  • Monitor sales rates of products and ensure that the top-selling products are merchandised at the top of browsing categories
  • Respond quickly to developers and QA to address unforeseen scenarios in new functionality
  • Capable of stepping in and acting as an individual contributor in one or more of the following ways: software QA, content/editorial/copywriting, user experience, analytics

Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management -products that you have owned and delivered
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Data-driven
  • Passion for excellent ecommerce customer experience
  • Strong understanding of established web and mobile standards and UI best practices, and a curiosity about emerging trends
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven and organized, able to stay two steps ahead of the work your team is doing
  • Start-up experience or prior roles launching new websites/apps is a plus
  • Covid-19 vaccine is required - reasonable accommodations will be considered
  • Ability to work in the office in Eden Prairie, MN on Mondays and Wednesdays, and remotely Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
