As a Product Manager on the Payments team, you’ll drive the design, launch and growth of a portfolio of payment products. We’re looking for someone who can deeply understand our users' needs and own the product management lifecycle, and ultimately use payment products as a strategic growth lever for the business. You’re passionate about the payments space and are excited to build and grow products. 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Lyft's strategic and competitive position. Set your team's goals, success metrics and roadmap to align with Lyft's mission and drive maximum impact based on data analysis, market research and usability studies.
  • Completely own your team's products, existing or new, from ideation, through development, to launch, growth and maintenance.
  • Lead and align cross functional partners and teams: engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners and operations to drive a shared vision. 
  • Dive deep with your development team, with full understanding and communication of each decision and trade-off you make
  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences. Ensure that key leadership & stakeholders are aligned on proper priorities, opportunities and progress on key initiatives

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of product management experience 
  • Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. Be able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
  • Confident in decision-making, providing concise, clear, direct communication
  • Excellent written and communication skills 
  • Experience leading post-launch optimizations including developing testing strategies.
  • Detail oriented with superior organizational skills -- balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests should be second nature to you.
