Enervee is a remote first, distributed team. Our Product Manager, eCommerce can NOT be based outside the US

Enervee's Product Manager, eCommerce, will own overall product performance of their assigned features including the ecommerce platform, work collaboratively with other product owners, and define new growth opportunities.  The specific ecommerce service is core to our platform, supporting standard ecommerce transaction data, flows, functions, and tools, as well as both internal and external integrations.  

Enervee is rapidly expanding product offerings for utilities, retailers, and other energy-conscious organizations, and we are looking for a Product Manager, eCommerce, to drive and own product roadmaps for our proprietary eCommerce platform. Back-end integration experience is key to building and managing existing APIs and endpoints that this and other services rely upon.  This role will report to our Director of Product, Platform Services.  On earth day, we announced our Series B funding - a big new investment in empowering everyone to shop efficient. How you can make an impact

You will be the subject matter expert for all business logic on the features assigned.  You iterate in small increments; embrace new challenge; know the times for boldness as well as humility. You dynamically support the team as we grow and do new and amazing things!

  • Use your ecommerce and payment processing expertise to drive the product roadmap
  • Define and propose features and updates through detailed product requirement documents
  • Set technical product roadmaps and team with engineering to establish definition, prioritization, and impact of new product initiatives
  • Assist with the release process to validate features within the staging environment, ensuring all applicable code changes are included, and production environment functions as expected post-release
  • Set success metrics for all features and constantly monitor and evaluate features for optimization and iteration
  • Work collaboratively to create feature descriptions, acceptance criteria for jira tickets
  • Consolidate product requirements and input from with in the product management organization along with other stakeholders within client services, sales and marketing
  • Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders on the roadmap and product priorities based on business goals, and keep communication ongoing as priorities shift
  • Work directly with development teams in scoping, testing user stories

What you bring to the team

Diving into new technologies excites you and you bring your passion for saving energy and having a positive impact on the environment to this role! You are a focused team player who possess and excel at the following: 

  • 3+ years product management experience with strong focus on developing e-commerce products for web and mobile
  • Experience with building and owning proprietary ecommerce platforms
  • Expertise integrating with payment processing and financial services providers (i.e. payment gateway, digital wallet, loan financing partners)
  • Experience with Agile project delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban, Pl
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, document, and discuss technical concepts
  • Mac-savvy and proficient with JIRA, Confluence, and Google Apps

Bonus points:

  • Experience with analytics and analysis tools like Segment and Looker
  • Experience working in the growth phase of a startup
