Job Description Responsibilities
Training executives, managers, and leaders - Product Agility leads socialize the new concepts and provide orientation and overview training. Product Agility Leads teach agile leader's concepts to leaders, managers, and stakeholders.
Support in product identification workshops - Working with stakeholders to understand the flow of value, to find those that are the most opportunistic to work.
Creating operating model -Participate in creating an operating model for the rollout, communicate upcoming changes, and establish metrics.
Preparing Leaders for agile transformation; Product Agility leads coach leadership and help facilitate the creation of new scrum teams. They also train or source training of executives, leaders, development teams, and specialty roles-such as Product Owner, agility leads, Area product owner, and Product team members. They also assess and evolve launch and backlog readiness.
Coaching execution - They coach leaders and stakeholders to build and maintain the Vision, Roadmap, and Product Backlogs. They also participate in Scrum of Scrums and integrated Demo, facilitate overall events and follow-up on improvement items.
Improving - An enterprise can never be too Lean. Coaches take a long-term view in advancing quality, supporting enhanced skill development with continuing education, and establishing Communities of Practice (CoPs). Continuously improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity. They help the team focus on daily and sprint goals. Teaches problem-solving techniques and helps the team become better problem-solvers for themselves.
Skills

  • Works with the Product owner to align team with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information. Helps PO in their efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and coach.
  • Communicates organizational impediments to leadership; clears impediments for the product teams.
  • Communicates with management and outside stakeholders; helps protect the scrum teams from uncontrolled expansion of work.
  • Creates an environment of collaboration within the product teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
  • Embraces the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instills the same in the team(s) you coach
  • Coach product owners in creation and maintenance of the product backlog including empirical planning
  • Teach systems thinking and servant leadership
  • Bring ideas from professional facilitation, coaching, conflict management, mediation and so on to help the team become a high-performance team


Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Expert with Agile and Scaling Frameworks and its application in Product Development and delivery organization
  • Ability to coach and mentor
  • Ability to collaborate and influence with people at various levels
  • Sound understanding of Scaling framework such as LeSS and various other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, XP
  • Leverage skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and more to serve the team(s)
  • Executive presence and ability to coach multiple teams across the product
  • Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies
  • Ability to leverage capabilities across the firm to solve local problems
