Role Description
In this role, you will define the roadmap for customers who use both Dropbox & HelloSign. While this starts with HelloSign, there are opportunities to expand the portfolio beyond HelloSign to future M&A that Dropbox will do.
You will be focused on crafting these critical experiences for our end users and buyers. You will be expected to have a balanced portfolio of product investments that range from helming existing user bases and keeping them happy to making calculated swings at large initiatives. • You are responsible for painting a picture that enables our customers and prospects to go on a multi year journey with Dropbox while keeping their users happy and the buyers bought in
  • Be the voice of the customer and help provide context, empathy and rationale behind customer needs. Less “customer wants a feature”, more “they want to solve a problem that helps with ..”
  • Work with Engineering, other product managers, design, analytics counterparts to facilitate well rounded decision making with a bias for action and calculated risks
  • Work with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to facilitate rapid time to value for our customers and prospects
  • Help balance your product’s long-term roadmap with its backlog of issues and bugs. Be an expert at prioritization.
  • Drive intuitive user interfaces which delight our customers and buyers alike
  • Deliver crisp product requirements to engineering. Remove obstacles from the path to shipping.
  • Make data-informed decisions. Know how you’re measuring success before starting any project. Obsess over your KPIs. Know when to commit more or less resources.
  • Effectively communicate across all departments in the company.
  • Embody our core values and uphold our unique company culture. We value diversity and inclusion, and encourage our team members to be their authentic selves at work.
Requirements
  • You have more than 6 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally at a B2B SaaS company.
  • You have led growth initiatives for a minimum of 3 years with a focus on self serve funnels and freemium motion.
  • You have experience working on both web & mobile products
  • You not only welcome feedback from customers and teammates but you thrive on it.
  • You develop empathy for customers resulting in an uncanny ability to build things that they want and need.
  • You are a skilled communicator who can motivate, lead and champion a product without authority.
  • You take extreme ownership of your product. The buck stops with you.
  • You possess an analytical mindset that makes data-informed decisions. Bonus points for the ability to effectively use – A/B testing tools, analytics tools, and other front-end tools.

An Insider's view of Dropbox

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

In the first time in over a decade, I’ve been able to actually have work life balance and to develop healthy habits because of Virtual First. My commute time is now filled with a morning workout and the end of my day now looks like being able to cook for myself. I also was able to move closer to family, which means the world to me.

Caitlin

Diversity Program Manager

What's the biggest problem your team is solving?

In a world that’s radically shifting virtual, it’s exciting to be at a company aiming to solve a lot of the problems at the crux of the transition. I’ve been working on projects that help small businesses using Dropbox collaborate and improve their overall user experience.

Micah

Software Engineer

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

Dropbox truly invests in their employees and supports internal mobility. Each year I’ve worked at Dropbox, my role has changed slightly. It’s kept me engaged, challenged me, and allowed me to constantly be in a learning environment.

Hannah

Project Manager

What is your vision for the company?

I see the 40-hour office workweek becoming a thing of the past. Employees will escape grueling commutes and gain more control over their day. The workplace will now be wherever work happens, and the workweek will be whenever work happens best for each person. We'll grow stronger as we integrate dispersed talent with diverse perspectives.

Drew

Co-founder and CEO

How does the company support your career growth?

There’s always an opportunity to pivot and learn new skills or internally transfer to a team that’s outside your normal scope of work. The humility and empathy that Dropboxers have is unlike anywhere else I’ve worked. There’s always going to be someone on the other side willing to bring you in on a project or mentor you.
