We are looking for a Principal Product Manager for Reporting and Analytics, who will play a meaningful role in the growth and success of Sage Intacct and our customers. You will work across product teams, UX, engineering, and operations to deliver best-in-class reporting and analytics tools that enable our customers to gain greater insight into their business and ultimately help them thrive!

You will drive customer research, usability studies and be responsible for understanding the market, customers, and our competitors. You will collaborate with leadership to define product strategy and roadmap. Coordinate with development teams and supervise progress throughout the development cycle. You will serve as the product owner for your areas of leadership and coordinate with cross-functional teams for product launch company readiness activities and post-launch activities to ensure customer success.

To thrive in this role, you will have a background, knowledge, or direct experience in finance and/or accounting with a solid understanding of data models, data warehousing, and analytics technologies, and have a track record of delivering innovative solutions that delight external customers (B2B) by making complex analysis easier to perform.

Responsibilities:

• Through market and product research, drive the roadmap for building out the best of breed reporting and BI analytics solution
• Collaborate on strategy to drive the fastest time to revenue
• Use available data and research to understand target customer's needs and the current market's sweet spot
• Prioritize features and other development projects in collaboration with product leadership to achieve business results
• Write detailed requirement documents that are necessary for the engineering organization to implement new Intacct solutions
• Drive data insight, integration, model to promote product usage and completion
• Go-to person for development progress and schedule, issue, and risk management for your product areas
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful launch of solutions through training, support, and marketing efforts
• Collaborate with marketing; creating product messaging to the identified target markets to assist the marketing organization in the preparation of product data sheets, collateral, and product-related PR events
• Analyze Sage Intacct solution against key competitors to provide business process maps for Sage Intacct offerings, provide competitive analysis to the sales organization, and incorporate findings into the corporate product roadmap
• Focus on continuous improvement, identify areas of improvement in methodology and content quality and develop plans to address
• Work with and advocate for customers to have the best experiences in using reporting and analytics solutions with Sage

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 10+ years direct working experience with financial reporting and BI analytics products or implementing BI analytics solutions
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in product management or building products for customers from a consultant, services, or implementation role
• Deep knowledge of financial application data object model and data integration
• Direct experience with financial SaaS (software as a service) applications/solutions or previously with Sage Intacct products
• Extensive experience working in an external customer-facing role
• Strong project management skills with a proven record of leading them to a successful delivery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to work with global teams from different departments and different time zones towards a common goal
