Department OverviewSupply Chain New Product Introduction team follows a structured process for ensuring new products are successfully launched in the Elgin factory.
Job Description
Provide new product introduction support within the Elgin factory. Support will be focused in back-end and final product assembly.
Specific tasks to include the following:
Lead pre-build readiness reviews
Support and lead build execution (back end/final assembly)
Track quality performance
Document issues and corrective actions
Assist engineering on resolving product or process issues
Drive closure to build related issues and actions
Qualifications:
Must have the ability to identify and solve factory based issues related to NPI build execution.
Knowledge of shop floor control processes (CAM, parent / child linkage, prior process verification, others)
The ability to translate BOM (Bill of Materials) into factory work instructions / Build aids
Must have the ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint or Google equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
The ability to work in a team based environment with minimal supervision
Basic Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of Technical experience
