About the Role

As a member of the Operations Systems & Product Strategy team supporting the Order Platform pillar of the business, you will help revolutionize our order management system to be highly automated and extensible fueling our ability to scale and serve millions of customers. You will work in close partnership with engineering, algorithms and business partner teams to help develop and maintain a short, mid, and long term roadmap for a software platform that manages the lifecycle of orders at Stitch Fix. You will interface with teams across the organization to ensure the order platform delivers value and ease of use by engineering and product teams across the organization.

You will need fantastic organizational and communication skills, technical skills, as well as a passion for process improvement. You play a connective role, translating business needs into prioritized requirements, and from those, API platform capabilities. You will support a team of engineers by collaborating on a seamless product development process to create a sound path of your vision. This will require you to think big and be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how we operate.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Work day to day with engineers to build out a scalable, flexible, Order Platform that supports all aspects of the business.
  • Collaborate closely with customer facing teams, warehouse operations, and product leaders to understand the business needs that drive the strategy and priorities for a best in class order management system. 
  • Drive the execution and delivery of products and APIs that power the order management system. 
  • Work cross-functionally with client, stylist, customer experience teams (and more!) to support execution of cross-functional initiatives and influence partner roadmaps to execute against order platform technical and product strategy
  • Conduct the required fact gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis to document, quantify, and specify process re-engineering efforts.
  • Deliver value to clients and the business through successful management and execution of the product roadmap. Ensure the team is consistently focused on the highest-impact priorities, particularly when faced with new information and learnings.
  • Champion and embody the Stitch Fix culture, mission and values.

We’re excited about you because...

  • You have 4+ years product management experience
  • You have 2+ years project management
  • You have experience working with Supply chain technology including but not limited to Order Management Systems (OMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • You have experience building a technical platform, preferably translating business requirements into technical system or API capabilities.
  • You have a 4-year Bachelor’s degree
  • You have demonstrated experience in the complex into simple, meaningful, and strategic product milestones  
  • You have sound business judgement and can easily communicate a business case for a new opportunity
  • You drive influence and alignment across cross functional partners while spearheading projects via strategic plans and clear and effective communication
  • You have a strong sense of ownership, can roll up your sleeves and drive end to end product development for innovative customer experiences
  • You are adept at ruthless prioritization in the face of competing priorities
  • You have a bias for action and are able to execute flawlessly
  • High level of interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment, often working cross functionally.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and many administrative details in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • High level of self-motivation
