THE TEAM


We’re looking for an experienced technical product leader to help us build world-class infrastructure and platform to support event creators and consumers. We have an ambitious technical vision and high growth business strategy, and developer velocity and product reliability are key to both. Eventbrite powers millions of event creators of all shapes and sizes across 160+ countries and you will help transform and deliver a platform that scales to support 10x the amount of the events and tickets we support today.

YOU WILL

  • Be a leader at the company evangelizing investment in our platform as well as helping to align the company around adoption of our technical vision
  • Be deliberate around showing how the investment in our platform improves developer velocity, reliability, scale, and performance in a way that ultimately helps our customers
  • Manage Group Product Managers across Platform, Infrastructure, and SRE and mentor the broader team of Platform Product Managers
  • Work with your direct reports to ruthlessly prioritize where to best focus product leverage so we deliver the largest impact towards our mission
  • Build a product management culture that can solve strategic impact challenges across multiple engineering teams.
  • Expand the knowledge of how our technology is evolving to the entire company
  • Recruit, hire, manage, and mentor top product managers on the team
  • Apply a talent strategy by engaging talent directly in market for opportunities and enabling development and careers for your current and future employees

THE SKILL SET

  • 10+ years experience in product or engineering including knowledge of modern cloud based technical stacks
  • 7+ years leadership experience with a track record of hiring and developing high-performing teams and having a talent strategy around 
  • Consistent track record of bringing strong product thinking to internal development customer problems
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment driving prioritization across a portfolio of efforts, incorporating new business realities and technological advancements along the way, especially around API and platform products with engineering customers
  • Commitment to your craft by staying close to what is evolving in the area of infrastructure and platform to best position Eventbrite's success today and tomorrow
  • Strong communication skills that enable clear articulation of vision, strategy, and execution
  • A collaborative approach to guide and deliver impact in those challenging moments of product delivery
  • A passion for connecting people through live events
