We have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Global Product Manager to make an impact in our upstream marketing team with a special focus on our fast-paced, high visibility H&N cancer business. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, planning and executing high-impact internal and external product development programs from idea inception to product launch.

A Day in the Life

 

  • In conjunction with the Upstream Marketing Director, develop the franchise strategic roadmap for new product portfolio for assigned product lines
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, business development, and sales teams across business units and corporate development to facilitate strategic initiatives
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses and valuation models for proposed programs; constructs and presents analyses to seek alignment from senior management
  • Work closely with R&D, Business Development and Upstream Marketing to integrate products into ENT portfolio
  • In conjunction with the downstream marketing team, prepare and support activities for new product launches including value proposition, sales channel strategy, cannibalization assessment and pricing
  • Serve as marketing lead in product development projects
  • Collaborate with business development team to identify targets for external development or acquisition to add value to product portfolio
  • Gather detailed information, analysis and investigation to overcome problems and issues faced regarding product development
  • Work closely with customers to identify unmet needs, provide support, and develop product plans; conducts competitive analyses and market research
  • Global travel up to 30%

 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, engineering, consulting, sales, business development or finance within the medical device/biotech industry with a Bachelor's, or 5 years with Master's

 

Nice to Have

 

 

  • MBA
  • Downstream marketing experience a plus
  • Product development experience is a plus
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
