Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role.
The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Job Description

LM2500 PL PSE is highest level technical support for the LM2500 fleet. Provide technical support for LM2500 Platform including Engine, Package, BOP to Customers, Field Core, Houston Service Center, repair vendors and GE partners. Responsible for improving performance, reliability, availability & maintainability for the installed base. Act as prime interface with GE Aviation, Baker Hughes & Aero Alliance for LM2500 Platform issues, fleet programs, bulletins, NPI & RAM programs, field support, and RCA's.

Essential Functions:• Provide last stop Engine, Package & BOP technical support for LM2500 products.• Energize and support customer problem resolution and opportunities through field containment,

launching fleet programs (TPR & PCB), and monitoring fleet campaigns.• Product Control Board participant - Responsible for TG1 plan on field issues & opportunities.• Track field issues and maintain Common Problems Report to utilize in developing and launching

New Product Introduction (NPI) and Reliability/Availability/Maintainability (RAM) programs.• Provide Field perspective as LM2500 Business Team Member with GE Aviation, Baker Hughes,

Aero Alliance and GE Gas Power new unit teams.• Act as technical liaison with Customers, Plant Insurers, Customer consultants, and GE

commercial/Customer facing teams.• Oversee technical Installation & Commissioning initiatives on all future installations• Oversee technical support for LM2500 product - Ensuring timely and accurate customer support.• Final technical review and approval for Root Cause Analysis investigations.• Provide leadership and guidance for product service engineering team and Field Core personnel

supporting LM2500 product.• Work with GE Aviation on hardware repair and/or redesign programs.• Maintain a culture of safety within the team.• Interprets internal and external technical/business challenges and recommends best practices to

improve products, processes, or services. • Creates and delivers technical content at Aero User Conferences. Answers questions from

customers at conferences. • Off-Hour availability and some travel time may be required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 4 years of related Aero Gas Turbine experience.
