As the Product Support Specialist, you will help maintain and refine the functionality of our Intellectual Property (IP) Operations through our Moderation and Rights Management platforms. These products are used by our IP Ops, Developer Relations, and Legal teams to protect IP for our users, developers, and brands. You will ensure that the IP Ops team is operating at peak efficiency and handling IP matters correctly and quickly. You'll use data-driven techniques, advanced process improvement and legal and policy expertise to ensure that we comply with Roblox's obligations, while facilitating happy rights holders, creators, users, and partners. You will integrate with safety product partners to improve safety workflows and scale new safety features for some of the most exciting up and coming Roblox products.

You will report to the Intellectual Property Product Support Manager (PSM) but will also work closely and collaborate with Legal, Developer Relations, Trust & Safety Product and Engineering, InfoSec, and Marketing teams.

You Will:

  • Lead and optimize IP Ops team performance using data-driven strategies and well-defined metrics
  • Manage and guide a large team of Roblox IP Ops agents and staff, ensuring exceptional customer experience and meeting performance metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in IP protection processes across the platform
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities, crafting recommendations for improvement
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for IP-related processes, focusing on consistency, accuracy, and efficiency

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in law, business, operations, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property management, content moderation, or a similar role in the tech industry
  • Solid understanding of intellectual property laws, digital rights management, and content moderation practices
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and optimizing workflows
  • Experience using data to lead decision-making
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams, specifically product, engineering, and contract workforces

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
