Product Support Engineering Manager

Boeing Defence UK operates an engineering matrix organisation consisting of Engineering Departments that deliver technical skills, expertise and products into our programmes. One of the Departments is Product Support Engineering which provides the product supportability infrastructure including but not limited to the following technical areas:

  • Logistic Support Analysis
  • Reliability and Maintainability
  • Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis
  • Engineering Data Exploitation
  • Integrated Logistic Support Engineering and
  • Technical Publications
  • CAMSS
  • Support Equipment

The Product Support Engineering Manager will assist in the management of the Product Support Organisation specifically at the RAF Lossiemouth site across our fixed wing platforms. The role will be responsible for both technical leadership and personnel management to ensure operational objectives are met.

They may also assist in implementing the strategic growth at the site for Product Support and form part of the overall leadership team for Product Support across the BDUK business areas. You will have access to many resources that you will be able to flexibly access in order to inform and support your development throughout your career with us. This role is based at RAF Lossiemouth site.

This post may also be required to support bid activity as a technical focal point at the management level for vertical lift activities

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing a team
  • The ability to obtain SC Clearance

Preferred Experience:

  • Industry experience and Engineering background is preferred
  • Engineering Degree (or related discipline) is preferred
