The Role
Lead product discovery and strategy: frame problems, run workshops, define measurable outcomes, own roadmaps, coordinate designers and engineers, use AI to iterate quickly, mentor teammates, and align stakeholders to deliver viable, desirable products.
Summary Generated by Built In

We’re November Five. Makers, designers, strategists. Different backgrounds, one mindset. We say what we mean and do what we say. Passion walks in; expertise grows.

Feedback is direct. We’re hard on the facts, but kind on the people. We wear more than one hat, and we’re proud of it. We collaborate hard and we’re always looking for more people like us.

We’ve also built things of our own. Appmiral, Spencer, Gorilla, Wovian. Four ventures born inside November Five. When the right idea meets the right people, we build it. That’s not a side note. It’s part of who we are.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Product discovery: You frame the problem before anyone reaches for a solution. You facilitate discovery workshops, talk to real users, and pull apart the client's assumptions and your own. You use AI to sketch and pressure-test ideas in hours instead of weeks. Your job is to separate the problem worth solving from the noise around it.
  • Client and market intelligence: You get under the skin of the client's business: the model, the market pressure, the ambitions. You read the market and the competition, and you turn all of it into a clear point of view on where the real opportunity sits. You keep a sharp eye on the budget, because constraints are what make a strategy honest.
  • Product strategy: You weigh desirability, viability, and feasibility against the client's business goals and the people who'll actually use the thing. You own the product roadmap and decide what's worth doing and, harder, what isn't. You align stakeholders around one direction by making complex things simple.
  • Outcomes and measurement: You define what success looks like before the build starts: the outcome, the metric, the number that has to move. You set up how it gets measured. After launch you read the data, learn from it, and adjust the direction. You'd rather learn from something real than defend something theoretical.
  • Product definition: You own the definition. Pulling in a product designer and a solution architect, you turn direction into functional, visual, and technical specs. You have taste. You know which of a hundred options actually matter, and you can tell what's off before you can fully explain why.
  • Knowledge sharing and mentoring: You share what works. A prompt, a skill, an article, a framework, a shortcut. You don't hoard and gatekeep knowledge. You treat every collaboration as a chance to raise the bar for everyone.
  • Team coordination: You help coordinate the team . You make sure designers, architects, and engineers understand why and what to build. You make the people around you sharper.

Requirements
  • Start with the problem, not the solution. You've taken messy, half-formed briefs and turned them into clear opportunities. You know a real problem from a symptom, and you don't fall for the first idea just because it's the loudest one in the room.
  • Are obsessive about the "why". Why the metric moved, why users drop off, why the obvious answer feels wrong. You have a good grasp of product fundamentals from both a customer and a technical angle, but curiosity is the thing that actually drives you.
  • Define success in numbers. You set the outcome and the measure up front, and you go back to check whether it moved. You've owned a business case, not just a backlog. A strategy you can't measure isn't finished.
  • Can hold a room. You've aligned clients and stakeholders around a direction by making the complex simple and the ambiguous concrete. You lead through clarity, not authority.
  • Are comfortable sharing rough work. A v0.1 strategy, a scrappy prototype, a first-pass analysis. You iterate based on what you learn. You don't need everything to be perfect before it's useful.
  • Treat AI as a creative partner. You've built a working rhythm with AI tools. Not as a shortcut, but as an instrument you've learned to play. You know when to let it lead and when to take over.
  • Cross lanes without losing your anchor. You've worked closely with designers, architects, and engineers as a genuine sparring partner, not just a coordinator. Your best work has usually happened slightly outside your job description.
  • Love bringing clarity to clients. You get genuinely excited about understanding someone else's world and turning uncertainty into confidence. That's what earns trust, not slide decks.
  • Want to work openly, transparently, and closely with your clients.
  • Speak Dutch and English fluently.

BenefitsHow you grow here

We use our Impact x Growth x Reward (IGR) framework, to make progression clear and evidence-based. Your growth is tied to the impact you create: on clients, on the work, on the team around you.

N5 is also a place where ideas become ventures. Four businesses have been built here already. If you’re working on something, we don’t ask you to leave it at the door.

Why join us?

Because the work matters. And so do our people.

  • Ship real products for Coca-Cola, Le Pain Quotidien, Telenet, and others.
  • Work with people who will tell you when something isn’t good enough. They mean it as a compliment.
  • Build the design culture, don’t inherit someone else’s.
  • Stay close to the craft while growing the team around you.
  • A benefits package built around trust: mobility budget or company car, smartphone budget, mobile subscription, MacBook, pension plan, hospitalization insurance, net expenses, meal vouchers, 12 additional holidays and shared rewards.
  • Work from our Antwerp HQ. Worth seeing for yourself.
