We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to grow our presence in the healthcare industry by building strong customer relationships, promoting innovative medical devices, and delivering exceptional clinical support. Your responsibilities will Include:

  • Manages and visits existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, other healthcare staff, and key decision makers in hospitals) on a regular and planned basis to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and promote our products to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as agreed with Manager.
  • Supports market development and expansion efforts, including acquiring new customers in assigned territories, and partnering closely with distributor representatives to collectively grow the business
  • Educates customers and distributor representatives on the merits and proper clinical usage of our products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, manuals; at conferences, at workshops in hospitals)
  • Serves as subject matter expert of BSC products covered, and provides clinical support in hospitals where necessary, including case coverage and basic troubleshooting
  • Facilitate sales operation activities through close collaboration with internal cross functional team members  
  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and services by understanding their opinions and developing solutions to address them
  • Stays abreast of industry and market trends/activities. Attends meetings, workshops, conferences and exhibitions where needed to promote Boston Scientific products and services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in medical related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare industry, preferably in medical devices
  • Candidate must be proactive, collaborative, and have a strong willingness to learn.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time
