As a Product Security Risk Manager, you will help safeguard these advanced products by identifying and mitigating security risks during development. Your work ensures that ASML’s technology remains secure and trusted worldwide.
Role and responsibilitiesAs a Product Security Risk Manager, you will collaborate with design teams and compliance experts to assess and manage product security risks. You will guide teams toward effective solutions and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Perform and coordinate threat analysis and risk assessments across multiple teams.
- Evaluate and report product security risks clearly and accurately.
- Advise on solutions to close security gaps.
- Improve processes and tools to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Support industrialization of security risk management processes.
- Facilitate workshops and coach teams on security best practices.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in product security risk management.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as IEC 62443 or similar.
- Strong understanding of security threats and controls (e.g., encryption, access control).
- Experience in process development and team facilitation.
- Exposure to complex industrial systems or cyber-physical products.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
