About the Job

The Sales Lead will take ownership of bringing Glucode’s products to market and generating a sustainable product revenue stream. This role will focus primarily on driving product sales, while also supporting service-related sales opportunities where relevant. The ideal candidate is proactive, structured, and comfortable operating in both early-stage product sales and consultative selling environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Sales (Primary Focus)

  • Own and drive the end-to-end product sales cycle, from lead generation to closing
  • Qualify inbound leads and conduct discovery conversations to identify customer needs and position relevant solutions
  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies targeting key customer segments (e.g. HR, compliance, IT)
  • Conduct product demos, proposals, and negotiations to convert opportunities into revenue
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal flow
  • Track, analyse, and report on pipeline performance, conversion rates, and revenue metrics using CRM tools
  • Continuously refine sales messaging, pitch decks, and value propositions based on market feedback
  • Work closely with marketing to convert campaigns into qualified leads and revenue outcomes

Service Sales Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Support the qualification and progression of service-based opportunities, particularly where product and service offerings intersect
  • Collaborate with leadership  to align solutions to client needs
  • Contribute to proposals and client engagements where needed to support deal closure

Experience:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in tech, SaaS, or consulting environments
  • Strong ability to sell early-stage or evolving products
  • Comfortable with both outbound sales and consultative selling
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven hunter and deal closer with strong pipeline-to-revenue conversion.
  • Strong network across SMEs, Enterprise and channel partners.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to build and manage a rolling pipeline and strong closure ratio.Strong customer service with ability to win and maintain long-term relationships

Core requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within technology, SaaS, or consulting environments, channel partner network.
  • Proven track record of managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals
  • Experience selling products or solutions (not just services), ideally in early-stage or evolving offerings
  • Demonstrated ability in outbound sales and pipeline generation, including targeting and engaging new markets
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline, track performance, and report on metrics
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling approaches, with the ability to translate client needs into tailored solutions
  • Build and leverage strong networks across SMEs, Enterprise clients, and channel partners in compliance and cybersecurity awareness training ecosystems.
  • Own and manage a rolling pipeline with strong coverage and drive a high close ratio.
  • Balance new business acquisition with ongoing client relationship management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service across the full sales lifecycle.
