The Gogo Business Aviation Product Quality Technician is responsible for Material Review Board management, supporting quality engineers with identifying, root causing, and solving quality issues, inspection of incoming product as well as production product, and performing internal audits. This role is a key link in the quality of our operations and, in turn, the quality of our product. You will be a key contributor to our overall customer satisfaction and to the company's profitability.

How will you make a difference?
- Manage product and processes within the MRB cage including quality checks on product moving in/out of the MRB cage
- Oversee the disposition matrix and associated Unipoint functions which indicate who can disposition non-conforming product
- Work with quality engineers to identify issues, perform containment, root cause, and implement corrective actions for quality issues
- Perform accurate visual, dimensional, mechanical, and/or functional inspection of materials per inspection plans, drawings, and other specification requirements
- Initiate material non-conformance reports, as required. Ensure that the report contains accurate and sufficient detail of noncompliance or the cause(s) of failure
- Review in-process and final production materials by confirming specifications and documenting results
- Ensure product conforms to drawing, specification, regulatory, and quality standards
- Participate in ISO 9001/AS9100, FAA, Customer, and Internal audits, as required
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years’ operating in a manufacturing environment with a demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings
- IPC 610 and/or 620 certified
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Will be working in office, lab, and manufacturing environments
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
- Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Previous visual and mechanical inspection background with the ability to use basic hand measurement tools (calipers, pin and height gauges, etc.)
- Effective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
- American Society of Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification preferred
- Familiarity with Agile PLM and UniPoint for data documentation in Non-Conformances, Corrective Actions and Engineering Change Requests
- Experience working in a company that has implemented and maintains a certified ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System
- Strong attention to detail and task organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills with office software applications

Base Pay:
19.60 - 24.50 USD Hourly
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 5% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
