Job OverviewWe are looking for a Product Owner to join our Trading Terminal domain.
This is a new role within the domain, focused on working closely with a dedicated Trading Terminal domain team, managing the backlog, preparing tasks for development, supporting Scrum processes, tracking delivery timelines, accepting completed User Stories, and supporting releases.
This role is suitable for a Product Owner who enjoys working with IT teams, keeping delivery processes organized, and making sure tasks move from requirements to production in a clear and controlled way.
The main focus of the role is delivery management, task preparation, timeline tracking, and day-to-day support of the Trading Terminals` domain team.
Main Responsibilities- Work with the Trading Terminal domain team backlog and keep tasks clear, structured, and ready for development.
- Prepare Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, user flows, and other task-related documentation when needed.
- Refine tasks with the team and make sure developers, QA engineers, architects, translators, and UX/UI designers have enough context to deliver them correctly.
- Support the team during sprint planning, refinement, daily meetings, demos, and retrospectives.
- Track delivery progress, deadlines, blockers, dependencies, and delivery-related metrics.
- Support capacity planning and escalate risks that may affect delivery timelines or task quality.
- Accept completed User Stories, check implementation against Acceptance Criteria, and test changes on production after release.
- Support release preparation, release-related tasks, and follow-up actions if post-release issues appear.
- Keep Confluence and Jira information up to date and prepare basic delivery reports when needed.
RequirementsCore Knowledge
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Understanding of the Product Owner role in a development team.
- Experience with backlog management.
- Ability to write clear User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Basic technical understanding of frontend/backend development, QA processes, releases, and production testing.
- Understanding of UX/UI processes and ability to work with designers.
- Experience in FinTech, Forex, Trading, or financial products would be a plus, but is not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to keep tasks, statuses, and deadlines under control.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work closely with IT teams on a daily basis.
- Ability to clarify requirements and turn them into development-ready tasks.
- Ability to identify blockers and delivery risks early.
- Analytical and structured thinking.
- Responsibility for delivery quality and timelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
