Role Purpose
The Product Owner will support the Data Pipeline squad by owning the intake, definition, and prioritization of all incoming requests. This role ensures alignment between Operations, Engineering, and Product, enabling the squad to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for all stakeholder requests into the Data Pipeline squad.
- Gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into actionable user stories.
- Prioritise the squad backlog balancing customer needs, business impact, and tech-debt items.
- Coordinate delivery activities including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Provide visibility on delivery timelines and help maintain a 3-month forecast of key initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to support roadmap development.
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong understanding of operations workflows and data processes (AIT background ideal).
- Experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to define clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with agile delivery practices.

- Clear and predictable delivery timelines.
- High clarity of incoming requests and reduced ambiguity.
- Effective prioritization of features vs. tech debt.
- Improved efficiency and independence of the Data Pipeline squad.
