Role Overview:
Content Infrastructure Owners are responsible for creating exit strategies from existing Content platforms used to house and maintain core data. Specifically, the applicant will be expected to handle ongoing internal product capabilities by ensuring new functionality is fit for purpose; that released functionality is readily available to all internal customers to apply in support of LSEG core Content which is delivered to external and internal customers via platforms such as Elektron, or products like Datascope, Tick History.
A successful applicant will need to demonstrate a validated history of technology led transformation, a willingness to explore new insights as solutions to problems via improved processes or better technology.
- Ownership of strategy, design, business requirements, feature and functionality tradeoffs and release schedule for a set of propositions, products or services.
- Direct and influence cross-functional teams in order to ensure dependencies for proposition, product or service delivery are met
- Responsible for gathering and prioritizing client feedback and understanding client needs in order to drive innovation and increase client adoption and retention
- Involved in budgeting activities, development of 3rd party partnerships, etc.

- Responsible for reviewing current products to ensure that quality is being maintained

Core Responsibilities:
Manage releases for Content Operations capabilities onto infrastructure by assessing stability and resilience of the next generation of Content maintenance resources.
- Create governance functions for Data with a view to achieving group policy compliance.
- Review releases and testing plans attached to new technology and assess for flaws
- Suggest improvements to process and technology to remove potential defects prior to adoption by standard production teams post initial deployment
- Mitigate and reduce risks identified in solutions to requirements before development
- Engage with partners (TCT Product Managers, Content, etc) to feedback additional requirements to improve initial definitions by reviewing requirements
- Work with OPEX teams to ensure best practises are adopted by team and embedded in delivery process
- Review and understand goals of team and technologies to deliver LMP compliant solutions
- Have awareness of modelling and dataflows involved in new architecture
- Keep up to date with changes in technology platforms, and solutions.
- Create tangible measures to assess/improve release stability and performance

Required Skills and Experience:
- BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or
- Demonstrated relevant work experience in fields associated to role
- Expert user of MS products and Refinitiv products/tools
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills
- Outstanding presentation and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Ability to interact knowledgeably and confidently across all aspects of the business.
- Ability to work using your own initiative
- Ability to challenge the status quo and offer solutions
- Accomplished at working across borders in a culturally diverse organization
