About us

We’re November Five. Makers, designers, strategists. Different backgrounds, one mindset. We say what we mean and do what we say. Passion walks in; expertise grows.

Feedback is direct. We’re hard on the facts, but kind on the people. We wear more than one hat, and we’re proud of it. We collaborate hard and we’re always looking for more people like us.

We’ve also built things of our own. Appmiral, Spencer, Gorilla, Wovian. Four ventures born inside November Five. When the right idea meets the right people, we build it. That’s not a side note. It’s part of who we are.

About the job

Note: We're not actively filling this role right now. But great people don't show up on command. And we know that. So if this description gets you excited, we want to hear from you. We want to be transparent about where we stand and when we're hiring. But we don't let a strong match pass by. If your profile fits, expect to hear from us. Spotted another role at November Five that sparks your curiosity? Go for it.

At November Five, Product Owners are key system players in our delivery teams. You sit at the intersection of client goals, team capabilities, and business outcomes, and turn product strategy into predictable, high‑quality, measurably valuable delivery.

This is an agency role, not an in-house one. You'll often own delivery across several client products simultaneously, each with its own context, stakeholders, and constraints. The products you'll work on are real, user-facing digital products, typically mobile and customer-experience products shipping to large audiences for enterprise clients. Being close to clients, having honest conversations about progress and trade-offs, and earning their trust is the core of the job, not a side activity.

As Product Owner, you focus on how we deliver: refining the roadmap into a clear backlog and sprint goals, shaping the way of working with the team, and using our AI-enabled workflows to keep delivery fast, focused, and reliable. You'll collaborate closely with:

  • Our delivery team of Product Designers, Architects, Growth, QA, and other Engineers
  • The Client Director who owns the client relationship and growth
  • The Product Manager who defines the vision and desired outcomes

You will…

  • Act as the day-to-day delivery owner for one or more client digital products, keeping status, decisions, and risks transparent
  • Turn product vision and client objectives into a clear, realistic backlog, sprint goals, and release plan
  • Write and refine user stories with clear outcomes and acceptance criteria
  • Own and prioritise the backlog, making visible trade-offs between value, risk, effort, timing, quality, and margin
  • Lead and structure core delivery rituals (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and keep the team aligned on the agreed way of working
  • Use AI as a default part of your workflow to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions, spot risks, and keep delivery fast and focused
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders, and turn their feedback into concrete backlog and process improvements

RequirementsKeep reading if you...
  • Have 5–8 years of experience as a Product Owner, with a clear track record of owning at least one or two digital products from backlog to release, not just facilitating Scrum ceremonies
  • Have direct experience managing clients or customers, ideally in an agency, consultancy, or multi-client environment, including honest conversations about scope, progress, risks, and trade-offs
  • Bring hands-on exposure to building customer-facing digital products: mobile or front-end apps, or platforms like a CMS or e-commerce system. So you understand what it takes to ship and iterate on something real users touch
  • Have experience with customer-experience (CX) products, where the quality of the end-user experience is the point
  • Take ownership from start to finish and don't need constant direction to move things forward
  • Care about quality and value, and know when to insist, when to negotiate, and when to simplify
  • Are comfortable working in AI-enabled tools and workflows, and curious about new ways to improve the craft
  • Speak Dutch and English fluently
You'll thrive here if you…
  • Lead by example and help your team raise the bar in how they deliver
  • Like to introduce structure and foster a sustainable, predictable pace of delivery
  • Enjoy being close to clients and are comfortable having transparent conversations about progress, risks, and trade-offs
  • Thrive under pressure and see intensity as fuel rather than stress
  • See constraints, deadlines, and budgets as fuel for creativity. That's why our clients choose us

BenefitsHow you grow here

We use our Impact x Growth x Reward (IGR) framework, to make progression clear and evidence-based. Your growth is tied to the impact you create: on clients, on the work, on the team around you.

N5 is also a place where ideas become ventures. Four businesses have been built here already. If you’re working on something, we don’t ask you to leave it at the door.

Why join us?

Because the work matters. And so do our people.

  • Ship real products for Coca-Cola, Le Pain Quotidien, Telenet, and others.
  • Work with people who will tell you when something isn’t good enough. They mean it as a compliment.
  • Build the design culture, don’t inherit someone else’s.
  • Stay close to the craft while growing the team around you.
  • A benefits package built around trust: mobility budget or company car, smartphone budget, mobile subscription, MacBook, pension plan, hospitalization insurance, net expenses, meal vouchers, 12 additional holidays and shared rewards.
  • Work from our Antwerp HQ. Worth seeing for yourself.

Skills Required

  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Prior knowledge of MCPs and design sensibility
