At EdgeUno, we are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead the evolution of our BSS - Business Support Systems (ERP SAP, CRM Zoho, etc.) and internally developed Customer Portal. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation within our company by defining, prioritizing, and delivering new capabilities across customer-facing and internal applications.
You will be the bridge between business needs and technology, working closely with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams to understand needs and translate it defining clear user stories and technical requirements, along with creating and maintain roadmaps that align with EdgeUno’s operational and strategic goals.
Core Responsibilities
1. Product Ownership & Strategy
- Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for EdgeUno’s BSS and Customer Portal platforms.
- Prioritize features and functionality based on business value, technical feasibility, and alignment with company goals.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized, refined, and continuously evolving.
2. Stakeholder Management & Requirements Gathering
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, PMO) and the development team.
- Gather, refine, and document business and functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis.
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable product features and enhancements with clear acceptance criteria.
3. Agile Delivery & Collaboration
- Collaborate with project managers to align delivery schedules and manage release planning.
- Write and refine user stories, epics, and technical specifications in collaboration with the software development and systems teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure timely and quality delivery of features.
4. Technical & Functional Guidance
- Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate understanding of product requirements and expected outcomes.
- Review and validate technical designs and solutions to ensure alignment with product goals.
- Provide support during testing, go-live, and post-deployment validation.
5. Product Performance & Improvement
- Monitor usage metrics, user feedback, and system performance to continuously improve usability and functionality.
- Help identify areas for optimization, automation, and modernization within internal tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, preferably in a B2B SaaS, Telecom, or Infrastructure Services environment.
- Strong understanding of BSS concepts such as Lead-to-Order (L2O), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), Plan-to-Produce (P2P), and Hire-to-Retire (H2R), including billing, provisioning, customer account management, and service ordering.
- Experience working with ERP systems, CRM systems, customer portal systems, workflow automation tools.
- Proficient in writing user stories, creating wireframes, process diagrams, and documenting functional and technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence, Wiki, or similar.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
- Previous experience in telecom, hosting, datacenter, or infrastructure service providers is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with telecom operations, OSS/BSS integration, or customer support platforms.
- Understanding of API design and software architecture fundamentals.
- Experience working with multicultural teams across Latin America and/or global markets.
- Fluency in Portuguese
