Job Description

The Product Owner manages and prioritizes the product backlog, ensuring alignment with global priorities and commercial strategy. They collaborate closely with the Product Management Office (PMO) to ensure the team delivers high-quality value to the business.


Responsibilities

  • Own the Product Backlog and Roadmap, ensuring it aligns with global priorities and business strategy.
  • Define product vision, goals, and success criteria, ensuring timely delivery of product increments.
  • Act as a bridge between stakeholders and the team, managing communication and expectations.
  • Analyze competitors and industry trends to identify feature gaps and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with UX, Analytics, and other departments to make data-driven decisions.
  • Work with the IT Project Manager to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring proper grooming and ticket updates.
  • Maintain a clear, up-to-date product roadmap in Jira, ensuring team alignment and timely communication.
  • Apply SDLC processes and validate product increments on production.
  • Use data analysis to inform strategic decisions and drive a customer-centric approach.
  • Monitor competitors, propose new ideas, and ensure product health by addressing bugs.
  • Participate in PMO processes and improvement proposals.
  • Keep product training materials updated and act as 2nd-line support for customer issues.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in product management.
  • Knowledge of software development, web technologies, and Agile principles.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with market trends and a passion for improving consumer experiences.
