Job Description
The Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) Product Owner is responsible for leading key initiatives in the Lending Simplification roadmap, including process re-engineering, new functionality development, system implementations, conversions, end-user testing and training, and SOP development. The role requires a results-focused and process-disciplined leader to ensure successful deployment and adoption of changes
As a Product Owner in the Workflow team, you will be responsible for leading key initiatives in the Lending Simplification roadmap. This includes process re-engineering, new functionality development, system implementations, conversions, end-user testing and training, and SOP development. You will evaluate business processes, conduct requirements analysis, and create process models to guide developers and project teams. Your role will involve managing resources and priorities to ensure project success. You will also communicate changes and requirements to project managers and key stakeholders. This role provides an opportunity to utilize your analytical and conceptual thinking skills, and your knowledge of investment banking products.
Job responsibilities:
- Evaluate business processes and conduct requirements analysis to uncover areas for improvement.
- Elicit, analyze, and validate business needs while serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide developers and project teams.
- Effectively manage competing resources and priorities to ensure project success.
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences and act as a translator between parties.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree with minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in business analysis or loan servicing, particularly in commercial lending or the financial industry.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, along with advanced technical abilities.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and investigative skills to analyze and resolve process-related issues.
- Possess knowledge of investment banking products, including loans, and have a proven track record in driving medium to large-sized projects with strong results
