In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our digital solutions within Microsoft Power Platform portfolio containing Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Pages. You will be leveraging the benefits of current and upcoming technologies, providing relevancy for all Novo Nordisk employees together with the team members.
We are an organisation based on the SAFE agile framework, and as product owner you will be responsible of one of eight product areas. You will work proactively with the Scrum Master and People Leader to ensure team efficiency. The team consist of IT architects, service manager and operational analysts working with you to deliver the best product for all Novo Nordisk employees.
Responsibilities in the position:

  • Drive and communicate the product vision and strategy for Power Platform operations of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse and AI builder (Not including Power BI).
  • Build, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, build roadmap, and handle risks and dependencies to other teams in the organization.
  • Facilitate and participate in Agile Release Train (ART) events, and collaborate with the team members in their participation in system demos, ensuring high motivation and collaboration within the team, and full involvement of IT architects in decision making.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in the organisation, making sure roadmaps and priorities are aligned.
  • Stay curious and analyse new features from Microsoft, providing feedback for potential improvement areas.
  • Manage vendor relationship and maintain the operational budget for the product portfolio within the product area.


Skills we look for
To be successful in this role, we believe that you should have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree within business administration, IT or similar and 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, project manager, IT manager or IT architect.
  • Experience/technical knowledge working with automation, and low/no code technology such as Power Platform.
  • Experience in application, platform or infrastructure operations and vendor management.
  • Experience in agile product management and agile methodologies, with ability to understand the business needs and communicate these in an inspiring way to the agile delivery team and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and in a cross-cultural, global environment.
  • Ability to translate strategy into ambitious goals with clear priorities.


Nice to have, but not mandatory are:

  • Experience working in a regulated medical environment.
  • Experience and understanding of service design and UX .
  • Knowledge in ITIL process.
  • Agile PO/PM certification.
  • Experience in Administration & Governance of Power Platform in a global tenant setup including multiple geographies.

The position is based in Digital Workplace product area department, part of Global IT Operations (GITO) within DD&IT. Digital Workplace APAC department is a self-propelled unit based out of Bangalore, India working in an agile setup with global product teams for various digitalization, communication, collaboration, and automation IT platforms. The growing team constitutes of experienced Digital Collaborations and platform Service Managers, IT Architects, Technical and Business Analysts who work together with our Danish and US team to cater to Digital workplace requirements for Novo Nordisk employees. As an area we are responsible for Microsoft 365 Platforms, Power Platform, Novo Nordisk Meeting experience and collaboration technologies, Computing and Mobile platforms and devices. Together we focus on how to build a great digital workplace while ensuring stable and secure operations.
