As an Associate – Product Owner in the Digital & Platform Services team, you will play a key role in leveraging AI and intelligent automation to streamline the end-to-end booking lifecycle—reducing manual touchpoints, accelerating accuracy, and driving business performance. The role requires strong domain understanding of lending operations and the end-to-end loan lifecycle, with a focus on how AI and automation enhance workflows across origination, booking, and servicing. Working knowledge of vendor platforms such as Finastra Loan IQ, FIS ACBS, and other market-leading lending systems is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Set product vision/strategy and shape the roadmap through discovery (interviews, process deep-dives, data/controls analysis).
Own and refine the backlog (epics/features/stories) aligned to priorities and measurable outcomes.
Track success metrics across cost, functionality, risk posture, and reliability to drive decisions.
Drive simplification/modernization of commercial lending servicing with engineering partners.
Deliver scalable capabilities across the lending lifecycle (credit, underwriting, closing, funding and servicing).
Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and traceable—avoiding one-off solutions.
Align business, ops, tech, and controls on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs.
Manage dependencies, risks, and decisions; communicate changes clearly.
Ensure operational readiness and adherence to risk/control and quality standards.
Lead QA/UAT and support go-live, hypercare, and continuous improvement using feedback and outcomes.
Identify productivity/efficiency/control improvements via redesign, digitization, and automation and Use personas/UX inputs to keep decisions user-centric.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 8 years’ experience including minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area, for commercial lending or experience in a Back office/Financial industry
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Demonstrated prior experience of senior stakeholder / dependency management
- Knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
- Experience writing technical stories using industry-standard tools and notations (e.g., Jira/Confluence)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Candidates with knowledge of loan systems like Loan IQ, ACBS will be an added advantage
Demonstrated experience applying AI and automation to transform operational workflows
Knowledge of lending products, credit documentation, and end-to-end loan lifecycle processes
Solid understanding of project management and business analysis techniques
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—able to translate between business and technology audiences with clarity
Commercial awareness with a genuine interest in business development and how technology drives value
