WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Product Owner Fraud Solutions, you will be the cornerstone of our product strategy and execution, ensuring our offerings meet the needs of our clients and stay ahead of industry trends. This role requires a strategic thinker and strong leader who can bridge the gap between technical development and market requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of regulations, market demands, and product lifecycle management in a scale-up environment.

The following are some of the key responsibilities and requirements for this role:


  • Product Strategy and Vision:
  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for Lynx Fraud solutions. Chart the course and monitor current to future roadmap.
  • Align company goals, strategy to product features and functions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements to guide product direction.
  • Translate business goals into actionable product plans that drive growth and align with company objectives.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Go-to-Market Coordination:
  • Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and customer success teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Contribute to product marketing materials, drawing from expertise in Fraud to assist in developing external marketing materials and internal training materials.
  • Provide product expertise and training to go-to-market teams to ensure a clear understanding of product features and benefits.
  • Contributing to setting competitive pricing.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from customers and sales teams to refine and enhance product offerings.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the product, development, and go-to-market teams.
  • Maintain regular communication with executive leadership, providing updates on product status, challenges, and achievements.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers to gather insights and foster advocacy.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional product team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve team efficiency, communication, and product quality.
  • Advocate for the product team within the broader organization, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.

EXPERIENCE

3+ years of experience in the Fraud domain and in product-related roles:

  • Fraud Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of regulations, clients requirements, and industry challenges and uses cases.
    • Experience with Fraud technologies and solutions.
  • Product Management Skills:
    • Proven track record in product or project management, preferably within the fintech, compliance technology or consulting sectors.
    • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.

EDUCATION

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Technical Acumen:
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language for diverse audiences.
  • Market and Customer Focus:
    • Deep knowledge of market trends and customer needs within the financial services space.
    • Strong customer empathy and ability to incorporate user feedback into product development.
  • Leadership and Communication:
    • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate product strategy and technical details to various stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering value to customers.
