Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and experienced in data science and agile product ownership? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner (PO) for one of the Data & Analytics teams who will not only fulfill the PO role but also explore and leverage the power of AI to drive business transformation for SS&P. There, we need an AI ambassador—someone who understands how AI can be applied within the business, build the business case together with the experts, sell the story, prove the value and deliver impactful results.
 

Role and responsibilities

As a Product Owner, you will collaborate with a Data & Analytics team, working to bridge the gap between the customers’ expectations, and the development team consisting of both IT and business developers.

While the team is an independent and multi-disciplinary group of people, you’ll prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team delivers value through incremental improvements. Your goal is to continuously align both customers and the development team with clear objectives, vision, and goals for every sprint.

In addition to your PO tasks, you will become an AI ambassador. You will collaborate with several Data Scientists and key stakeholders across SS&P, and drive the adoption of AI by identifying business use cases, translating AI capabilities into business solutions, and delivering measurable business impact.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Product Ownership: manage and prioritize the backlog for data analytics team, ensuring successful delivery of high-value products in alignment with customer needs.

  • AI ambassador: collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and business stakeholders to unlock AI's potential within SS&P, developing AI-driven solutions that meet business needs.

  • Stakeholder engagement: build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between product goals and business objectives.

  • Vision & strategy: develop and communicate the product vision to your team and stakeholders. Keep both customers and the team informed about priorities and upcoming deliverables.

  • Delivery & impact: focus on delivering high-impact solutions that directly contribute to the strategic goals of SS&P, particularly in the realms of AI, analytics, and business transformation.


Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualities:

  • Strong communication & stakeholder management: Excellent communication, ability to engage (senior) stakeholders, manage expectations and change management skills.

  • Leadership & team development: Leading and growing a team of people towards success.

  • Result oriented, hands-on approach: High motivation and drive to achieve results; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under time pressure.

  • Structured problem-solving: Highly organized way of working with an ability to make informed decisions and take action to drive product development

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and way of working
     

Education and experience
  • Bachelor or Master degree related to Data and Analytics (e.g. Data Science, Information Management, Business Informatics).

  • > 3 years of experience as a Product Owner (no combined roles), preferably in a data-driven or AI-related field

  • In-Dept knowledge of Agile and Scrum

  • Experience in Data and Analytics (Data Science, Machine Learning, AI) and how these technologies can be applied to business solutions.

  • Knowledge and experience of ASML (products) is preferred.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
