As a Product Owner – Vice President within the Global RIO Reconciliation programme, you will be responsible for helping POD Leads drive the end-to-end reconciliation strategy across multiple testing and delivery environments, including JUAT, Replication Cycle, and Prod Parallel. You will own requirements from definition through delivery, shape technology priorities, and ensure large-scale testing is well governed so that outcomes are delivered predictably and with high quality.
Job responsibilities
- Support the POD Lead to drive the Global RIO Reconciliation Strategy across JUAT, Replication Cycle, and Prod Parallel, transitioning the organisation toward an AI-Assist operating model.
- Translate strategy into deliverables and measurable outcomes, ensuring alignment across business, operations, technology and control partners.
- Lead BA analysis (workflows, data needs/definitions, target state design, controls considerations).
- Own and maintain the BRD / requirements documentation, including governance, change control, and stakeholder sign-offs.
- Manage the technology build priority list and ensure prioritisation reflects business value, operational feasibility, risk/control outcomes, and delivery dependencies.
- Partner with technology to clarify requirements, unblock delivery, and ensure readiness for test and release.
- Lead large-scale testing efforts across multiple platforms and environments (JUAT, replication cycles, prod-parallel).
- Arrange testing, manage execution tracking, coordinate defect resolution, and support showcases/demos to ensure the reconciliation strategy is delivered.
- Build strong, cohesive partnerships with business, operations, technology and other key stakeholders; operate effectively within a matrix organisation.
- Be able to lead, motivate and get the very best out of a high-performing team of operations professionals.
- Advocate for and apply AI technologies (LLMs, Copilot, Claude/Claude Code) to accelerate requirements drafting, analysis, test design, and knowledge capture (while ensuring appropriate validation and controls).
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Analytic problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end business analysis: current-state assessment, target-state definition, process mapping, requirements elicitation, and translating outcomes into clear deliverables
- Strong requirements discipline with ownership of BRD and/or user story documentation, including governance, stakeholder sign-off, change control, and traceability from requirements to build and testing.
- Mandatory skills: Jira/Confluence, SQL, Alteryx, Python (and strong comfort working with data and tooling to support analysis/testing).
AI enablement mindset and practical experience advocating and applying AI-based technology (e.g., LLMs, Copilot, Claude/Claude Code) to improve BA/product delivery outcomes (requirements quality, testing productivity, documentation/knowledge capture), with an emphasis on validation and controlled adoption.
- Proven experience of managing large-scale testing efforts across multiple platforms and strong experience with Jira governance and Confluence tools.
- Strong sense of prioritisation and ability to execute against deliverables; ability to take personal accountability for projects and issue resolution.
- Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology and other key stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organisation.
- Excellent understanding of the investment process and associated market practices, with the ability to think strategically about business-led solutions.
People leadership capability: able to lead, motivate, and get the best out of high-performing operations professionals
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevant experience in Business Analysis, PM, in large scale program
- Preferably experience in Investment Accounting / Middle Office.
- Product knowledge of investment management product offerings (e.g., Equities, Unit Dealing, Mutual Funds, etc.).
- Computer skills including MS Office, Tableau and SQL.
- Expectation is to be able to engage with people, work well with others, and have a high-performance personality.
