Job Description
Own the systems that make great product teams possible. As a Product Operations Manager at JPMorganChase, you'll be the connective tissue between a small, high-impact product team and the internal customers they serve — turning friction into scalable solutions that land in weeks, not quarters. This is a rare opportunity to shape how a product organization operates from the inside, with direct visibility into roadmaps, decisions, and the people behind them.
As a Product Operations Manager at JPMorganChase within the Customer Enablement, Engineering, and Exploration team, you will own the operating model for a product organization building internal tools and workflows that help business users and engineers work more effectively. You'll partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to reduce coordination overhead, improve documentation practices, and build the systems that keep teams aligned and moving. Your work will directly influence how quickly teams can plan, communicate, and deliver value across the organization.
Job responsibilities
- Own and continuously evolve the operating model for the product organization, including intake, planning, documentation, and communication practices
- Build and deepen relationships with internal customers, becoming a trusted partner who understands their needs before problems escalate
- Design and implement tools, automations, and workflows that improve team effectiveness and reduce operational friction across product, design, and engineering
- Drive consistency in how requests, decisions, and updates are captured and shared, ensuring documentation is current, findable, and actively used
- Build and manage communication and enablement channels that reduce silos and keep stakeholders informed on what's planned, shipping, and why
- Measure adoption and engagement across internal tools and processes, using data to make decisions and demonstrate impact
- Apply AI tools to accelerate your own productivity and to build AI-enabled workflows that expand the capabilities of the systems you manage
- Translate ambiguous operational needs into lightweight, scalable solutions by partnering across product, engineering, design, and business teams
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of product, technical writing, or engineering experience
- Experience improving team processes, workflows, or operating models within a large, complex organization
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and relationships across product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders
- Experience creating and managing documentation, operational processes, and internal communications at scale
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive clarity through ambiguous, cross-functional problems
- Ability to manage a wide range of requests — from highly specific to broadly strategic — with equal rigor and follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience applying AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, writing, analysis, and decision-making, and building AI-enabled workflows for others
- Familiarity with workflow automation platforms, documentation systems, and collaboration tooling, with the instinct to know when a lightweight fix beats a platform investment
- Comfort using product analytics and usage metrics — such as adoption and engagement data — to measure operational impact
- Experience supporting internal platform or product-enablement teams within a large enterprise environment
- Systems thinking mindset with exposure to CRM-style tooling, intake management, and roadmapping practices
