As a Product Operations Analyst at Sana Commerce, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven product decisions and improving product performance. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, and other cross-functional teams to turn complex data into actionable insights that shape product strategy and enhance user experience.

Job Description

What you'll be doing

  • Design, build, and maintain product dashboards and reports using Power BI, DAX, and SQL to track product performance and user behavior
  • Analyze product data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization across the product lifecycle
  • Partner with Product Managers to support roadmap decisions with data insights
  • Develop and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure reliable and scalable data flows for product analytics
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Engineering teams to support scalable data architecture (Databricks, Python)
  • Define and track key product metrics (KPIs, funnels, retention, adoption, etc.)
  • Translate product and business requirements into data models and analytics solutions
  • Support experimentation and A/B testing by designing measurement frameworks and analyzing results
  • Contribute to best practices in product analytics, data governance, and tracking implementation
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, including senior leadership

Qualifications

What you'll bring

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics or product analytics, preferably in a product-led or SaaS environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Solid experience in data modeling and working with large datasets
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power BI (or similar BI tools)
  • Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python) for data analysis and automation
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., Databricks, ETL frameworks)
  • Understanding of product metrics and analytics (funnels, retention, cohorts, etc.)
  • Experience working with cross-functional product teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear business and product insights
  • Proactive mindset with attention to detail and a passion for improving product performance
