Position summary:

As a Product Marketing Manager at Sojern, you will be at the forefront of transforming the hospitality industry by delivering cutting-edge SaaS solutions that elevate guest experiences, optimize direct bookings, and drive revenue growth for hoteliers worldwide. Your role is critical in accelerating product adoption, fostering long-lasting relationships with hoteliers, and contributing to Sojern's mission to revolutionize the global hospitality industry.

What you will do:

  • Develop a robust understanding of the hotel industry landscape, including detailed profiles of customer segments, key competitors, and market challenges. 
  • Help refine our competitive positioning and drive strategic go-to-market initiatives.
  • Articulate compelling narratives around the features and benefits of our SaaS solutions, distinguishing our offerings with clear, impactful value propositions that resonate with hoteliers. 
  • Identify and evaluate new product opportunities within the hotel guest experience and direct booking space.
  • Lead initiatives from ideation through validation, employing methodologies such as customer interview best practices, persona development, competitive analysis, and market research.
  • Dive deep into understanding the behavior, pain points, and needs of our hotel customers through diverse research methodologies including direct customer feedback, NPS surveys, and usability testing to inform strategic decisions and product developments.
  • Partner closely with internal teams including Sales, Product Management, and Customer Success to align and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Effectively communicate the technical benefits and operational impacts of our solutions, facilitating successful sales conversions.
  • Continuously track and analyze emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the hospitality sector to anticipate shifts in the market and adapt our strategies accordingly.

What you bring to the table: 

  • Proven experience in product marketing within the SaaS industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other business undergraduate degrees (BS, BBA)
  • 2+ years of total relevant work experience 
  • 1+ years in a SaaS Product Marketing or similar role 
  • Strong interest in and solid understanding of online advertising technology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including client facing / public presentation experience
  • Detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage time and multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet expectations of multiple constituents
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
