Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be ABB's local champion for our global divisions — driving sales growth and expanding our market presence across the Philippines. Every day, you will lead impactful sales and marketing activities and collaborate closely with Sales organizations to accelerate product and service performance. You will bring your expertise to the table by shaping, planning, and executing powerful product marketing strategies that are locally relevant and globally aligned.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is a key contributor to ABB's Electrification Smart Buildings and Smart Power business in the Philippines, with leadership responsibility over a team of 2 to 3 direct reports.
- Lead the design and execution of a locally driven go-to-market product marketing strategy, crafting compelling value propositions and clear product positioning that align with and amplify ABB's global product direction.
- Take ownership of key business performance metrics — including total demand orders (ABB and third-party), growth margin %, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), finished goods inventory turnover, and on-time delivery — and drive continuous improvement against set targets.
- Proactively identify and evaluate market opportunities, define the right activities to pursue in line with overall strategy, and coordinate cross-divisional and cross-business unit efforts to maximize impact.
- Champion balanced, sustainable growth across all product lines, product groups, and business units by leveraging technical knowledge, customer-focused solutions, and a value-based selling mindset to stimulate product demand.
Qualifications for the role
- Around 10 years of hands-on experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or business development, preferably within industrial, technology, or engineering environments.
- Sharp analytical capabilities with a proven track record of tracking and optimizing key performance indicators such as demand orders, growth margin %, net price variance, NPS, and inventory turnover.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, with a natural ability to coach and inspire individuals to reach their full potential while delivering on organizational goals.
- A decisive, strategic thinker who knows when to take the lead and when to trust the team — empowering others to own execution with confidence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex data and market intelligence into clear, persuasive, and insight-driven narratives.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related discipline.
