The Role
Own product marketing for Bask’s telehealth platform, including positioning, messaging, product launches, sales enablement, competitive analysis, customer success training, website copy, case studies, SEO, and demand-generation content. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate technical capabilities into customer value for entrepreneurs and healthtech companies. Build the company’s first repeatable product marketing function and support both turnkey SaaS and platform/API narratives.
Summary Generated by Built In

Bask started as the fastest way for entrepreneurs to launch a DTC telehealth brand in weeks instead of years. Now other builders come to us for the parts underneath: EHR, prescriber workflow, pharmacy fulfillment, compliance. We have never had a dedicated product marketer. Every launch, every piece of sales collateral, every "why should I care" moment has been stitched together by founders, PMs, and engineers on top of their actual jobs. That ends with you.

You will be the first person at Bask whose full-time job is turning what we build into something the market understands, wants, and can buy. Two audiences at once: the entrepreneurs who have trusted us for years, and the healthtech teams finding us now.

Who we are

We think Bask is the best telehealth platform on the market. Our mission is to help entrepreneurs and businesses launch a DTC telemedicine company quickly, without solving the hard parts of the industry themselves. Hundreds of features, all built for telehealth specifically, all in our customers' hands.

The same foundation runs under both audiences: full-stack EHR, prescriber workflow, pharmacy fulfillment across a compliant 503a/503b network, marketplace and API extensibility, and AI-native care workflows. Larger healthtech companies increasingly plug into that directly rather than launch a brand from scratch.

We are a fast-growing startup, and we work with care and intention to build a high-performance company. Our values:

  • Speed Wins. Make decisions, move quickly, and know that if things go wrong, it's okay for you and the company.
  • Intuition, Then Data. We're a data-driven company. We start with our instincts and then use data to validate our decisions and improve.
  • Miles, Not Inches. Thinking small is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Favor bold ideas over incremental changes.
  • Customer-Obsession. We are obsessed with helping all our customers launch multi-billion-dollar companies with ease. We accomplish this by knowing our customers incredibly well and finding ways to make their businesses better.
  • Ownership & Accountability, together. We embody a culture of extreme ownership, accountability, and teamwork. We count on every team member to take responsibility for their work, embrace a proactive mindset to overcome challenges, and work together to achieve our collective success.
The role

You report directly to our Head of Product. That is deliberate. Product marketing here is not a downstream function that gets a spec thrown over the wall two weeks before ship. You sit close enough to the roadmap to shape how a feature gets framed before it is built, and close enough to sales and customer success to know which objections are costing us deals and renewals this quarter.

Your week splits across three areas.

Product launches and positioning
  • Work with Product and Engineering from early roadmap talks through GA, and turn features (EHR workflows, prescriber tools, pharmacy fulfillment, marketplace and API capabilities) into positioning a customer can repeat back to you.
  • Own the message for every release: naming, one-liners, in-app announcements, release notes, and the "why this matters to your business" story.
  • Build Bask's positioning and messaging framework and keep it honest as the product changes. That means holding two audiences at the same time, entrepreneurs launching a DTC telehealth brand and healthtech companies building on our platform and API, without either story diluting the other.
Sales and customer success enablement
  • Write the battlecards, competitive teardowns, ROI and pricing narratives, and objection handling our Customer Success team uses every day.
  • Track competitors in DTC telehealth and healthtech SaaS. Know who we lose to and why, then turn that into something a rep can say in a live call.
  • Train Customer Success and future sales hires on each launch and how to talk about it.
Content and demand gen
  • Write and ship website copy, case studies, and campaign content for entrepreneurs deciding whether to build on Bask, and for the larger healthtech teams evaluating Bask as what they build on.
  • Build a repeatable content motion (SEO, case studies, launch pages) rather than one-off assets that die in a week.
  • Work with Customer Success to turn our best wins into public proof, from a solo founder's launch to a technical API integration.
Who we are looking for

You have done this at a B2B SaaS company. You know the difference between a feature list and a positioning statement, and you have felt the specific pain of shipping something great that nobody outside engineering could explain.

You are comfortable being the only marketer in the building. Nobody hands you a brief. You find the gap yourself, whether that means sitting in on customer calls, reading support tickets, or pulling a PM aside to ask why a feature actually matters. You write clearly and fast, you are not precious about first drafts, and you would rather ship something imperfect this week than something polished next month.

Healthtech or telehealth experience helps. If you have it, you already know the regulatory and clinical nuance. If you do not, you will pick it up here. Positioning both an easy-to-adopt product for smaller, less technical buyers and a technical platform story for sophisticated ones is a strong plus, because you will be doing both at once.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of product marketing at a B2B SaaS company, owning at least one full launch cycle end to end.
  • B2B SaaS product marketing background. Required. Healthtech and telehealth experience is a plus, not a prerequisite.
  • You can translate technical product capabilities into customer-facing messaging with no translator in the room.
  • Strong, fast writing. Sales enablement material, web copy, and a launch narrative in the same week.
  • Experience partnering directly with Product and Engineering, not receiving finished specs from them.
  • Comfortable owning a function nobody has owned before, and building the process instead of inheriting one.
  • Bonus: you have marketed a platform, API, or infrastructure product to technical or enterprise buyers alongside a turnkey SaaS product for non-technical ones.
