Senior Product Marketing Engineer

As our team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Product Marketing Engineer to join us in Beverly, MA—where close collaboration with R&D and factory-based teams is essential.
Role Overview
As a Product Marketing Engineer, you’ll take ownership of marketing efforts for a specific product line. You’ll serve as the technical bridge between customers, sales, product management, and engineering—ensuring our products meet market needs and deliver exceptional value.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide technical input for customer RFI/RFQ responses, track equipment configurations, drive engineering specials, and support sales activities.
· Develop cost-of-ownership models and deliver detailed performance and competitive analysis to internal teams and customers.
· Work closely with Product Managers and R&D to manage marketing requirements throughout the definition, design, and verification stages. Support product configuration, pricing, special requests, and participate in product team meetings.
· Clearly articulate product value propositions, project updates, and strategic goals to internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams. Be a data-driven advocate for your product line.
· Contribute to the creation of specifications and marketing materials for new and existing product features.
· Attend or lead prioritization meetings and deliver product presentations when needed.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
· Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and statistical process control.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
· Professional experience in engineering, physics, or semiconductor-related fields.
· Familiarity with semiconductor capital equipment—particularly ion implant technology—is highly desirable.
· Deep knowledge of a specific product line, including configuration and manufacturing processes, is preferred.
Location
This role is based in Beverly, MA, to enable close collaboration with R&D and factory-based teams.

U.S. BASE SALARY RANGE
$137,996.28 - $206,994.42This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.
Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on
multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work
location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as
you develop within the role.
Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the
Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular
employees working 20+ hours a week).
