Product Marketing Coordinator
Salina, KS
Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Coordinator to join our Product Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will assemble Land Pride, Great Plains, and Construction Equipment for trade shows, dealer and customer events, and marketing photo shoots. Position also plans, manages equipment availability, transportation, and builds displays which promote a positive company image at trade shows and events across the United States – including Kubota’s Summer Sales Meeting and the Kubota National Dealer Meeting.
This position is based in Salina, KS. Some overnight travel is required, up to 30%. This is a salaried role. Typical work week is 40 to 45 hours, though additional time may be required in days/weeks leading up and during any of the events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and assemble Land Pride/Great Plains/CE farm, ag, or construction equipment in Salina and at remote show sites using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Set up marketing displays at show sites.
- Break down ag and construction equipment and displays after shows.
- Coordinate in-bound and out-bound freight hauling of farm, ag or construction equipment with external trucking companies.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team to design and build displays that highlight Land Pride equipment and accessories.
- Coordinate with Marketing team to reserve and transport all necessary printed materials and supplies for trade show booth.
- Demonstrate and explain products or services at trade shows, review Marketing literature, and answer visitor questions.
- Work with contractors and trade show management to trouble shoot, resolve problems, and ensure solutions are implemented.
- Collaborate with Land Pride/Great Plains/CE Marketing team to shoot photos, produce videos, and support other projects as needed.
- Follow all Great Plains Manufacturing and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of agriculture and construction implements and equipment required
- Strong planning, organizational, and presentation skills are needed; some project management experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with people at all levels
- Ability and knowledge to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Availability for overnight travel a minimum of 10 to 14 weeks per year
- Some heavy lifting is expected; occasional exertion of about 50+ lbs. of force (e.g., carrying a laptop, trade show information, boxes of literature) may be required.
