About Tort Experts

At Tort Experts, we are redefining the landscape of performance marketing in the legal sector. Our mission is to democratize access to information for individuals who have been injured, connecting them with law firms that can truly advocate for their rights and achieve successful outcomes. As an innovative, vertically integrated legal case acquisition marketing company, we leverage cutting-edge technology, data-driven insights, and a commitment to transparency to disrupt the status quo.

Joining Tort Experts means becoming part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a meaningful impact. We foster a collaborative environment where creativity thrives, and every team member plays a vital role in connecting qualified claimants with the representation they deserve. If you’re looking for a workplace where your contributions can truly make a difference, and where innovation meets purpose, Tort Experts is the perfect place for you.

About the role

We’re looking for a Product Manager who is energized by driving measurable improvements to conversion funnels and the end-to-end lifecycle journey. This is a hands-on, execution-first role at a fast-moving legal lead generation company actively investing in AI and automation.
You will own the end-to-end claimant journey — from the moment a potential claimant clicks on our ad, through a lead form and subsequent conversation, through to a signed retainer and account verification.   They will make sure we have quantifiable data on conversion at each step and be accountable for improvement. Whether a potential claimant who fills out a form actually becomes a signed client is on you. That means owning the experience, the messaging, the timing, the channel logic, and the results. You'll draft, you'll align stakeholders across departments including executive leadership, and you'll ship. Then you'll watch the numbers and do it again.

The roadmap and backlog track exists to make sure the systems supporting that journey are always getting better. A dedicated Scrum Master owns ceremony health — your job is making sure the right work is defined, prioritized, and ready to build.

What you'll do

Claimant Lifecycle

  • Own the full claimant journey lifecycle — every stage, touchpoint, and handoff across both human and automated interactions
  • Map every stage of the claimant journey, identify where claimants drop off, stall, or disengage, and drive improvements across systems and teams to close the gap
  • Define the ideal claimant experience at each stage and work cross-functionally to close the gap between ideal and actual
  • Partner with AI Engineering and Technology to improve the systems, automations, and workflows that move claimants through the journey
  • Draft communications (including SMS and email) and drive cross-functional alignment to finalize, approve, and lock
  • Adapt messaging for different tort campaigns claimant profile and doc requirements
  • Monitor response rates, drop-off, and conversions, using data to drive improvements
  • Translate intake feedback and claimant behavior into communication improvements
  • Own the testing and iteration cycle: hypothesize, ship, measure, adjust

Roadmap & Agile Leadership

  • Develop, own, and maintain a prioritized product roadmap in ClickUp, aligned to company goals and stakeholder priorities
  • Drive roadmap reviews; surface blockers and scope risks before they become problems
  • Prioritize using value-based criteria with data-driven support
  • Define and track success metrics, publishing roadmap status reports on a defined cadence

Backlog Ownership

  • Own backlog content end-to-end including user stories, acceptance criteria, order, priority, and definition of done
  • Write developer-ready tickets before sprint assignment including story, context, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and performance expectations
  • Review acceptance criteria with the assigned developer before the sprint starts
  • Own user acceptance testing (UAT): write the test plan, coordinate testers, sign off on release readiness
  • Resolve readiness issues before sprint planning closes, escalating issues with a clear recommendation

Request Intake & Discovery

  • Review every incoming request for completeness and resolve gaps
  • Proactively conduct stakeholder interviews to surface requirements
  • Maintain a request intake process so nothing falls through the cracks

Sprint Reporting

  • Author sprint executive report covering launched task impacts and rollover rationale
  • Review and approve sprint release notes before publish, adding business context and reframing technical language for non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience owning a conversion funnel or end-to-end customer/user lifecycle with accountability for drop-off, messaging, and measurable outcomes
  • Experience mapping and improving multi-stage customer or patient journeys — including handoffs between systems, teams, and channels
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment on content or messaging decisions leading to a finalized, shippable output
  • 3+ years in a PM role with direct, independent ownership of a roadmap and backlog in ClickUp, Jira, Linear, or equivalent
  • Experienced leading in Agile/Scrum environments and what sprint-ready means in practice
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to optimize product processes and workflows
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in legal tech, lead generation, intake centers, or performance marketing is a plus
  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Omni, Retool, Salesforce, or similar internal tooling platforms a plus

Benefits

  • Uncapped quarterly profit-sharing bonuses based on company performance
  • 100% company-paid monthly premiums for Fortune 500 level quality insurance plans for you and any/all dependents (US based employees):
    • medical (Aetna)
    • dental (Guardian)
    • vision (Guardian)
  • 100% company match on any employee contributions to either HSA or FSA flex benefits plans (US based employees):
    • $500 free FSA company contribution, even if $0 employee contribution
  • 401k plan with full company match of up to 6% of salary and no vesting period required (US based employees)
  • Unlimited paid time off with planned role/responsibilities coverage
  • Work from home equipment budget (at company's discretion)
  • Forever remote work environment
