🚀 Build Products That Drive Impact — and Love Where You Work

📍 Role: Product Owner
📍 Location: San Diego, CA 92101 (Onsite at Symphony Towers)
💰 Compensation Range: $130,000–$155,000 DOE

At Luminize, we build systems and products that power growth - for our clients and our internal teams. As one of the top 5 Amazon sellers in the U.S., we operate at scale, move fast, and rely on strong product thinking to turn ideas into outcomes.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to help define, prioritize, and deliver high-impact products and features across our organization. In this role, you’ll act as the voice of the user, partner closely with engineering and cross-functional teams, and ensure product initiatives drive real business value.

If you’re excited by ownership, collaboration, and building products that actually get used, this role is for you.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and manage the product backlog, including defining, prioritizing, and refining user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure clarity and alignment

  • Translate high-level business goals into detailed, actionable product requirements

  • Partner with engineers, designers, analysts, and operations teams to shape product features and improvements

  • Drive the full product lifecycle — from ideation through launch and iteration

  • Analyze user feedback, trends, and internal metrics to inform product decisions

  • Define KPIs and track product performance using quantitative and qualitative insights

  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to leadership and cross-functional partners

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and scalability

  • Advocate for users in prioritization and decision-making

  • Ensure product initiatives remain aligned with company strategy and goals

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience

  • 3–7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or related roles

  • Strong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies

  • Proven experience owning backlogs and executing against product roadmaps

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to guide decisions (SQL, analytics platforms, A/B testing, etc.)

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and attention to detail

  • Exceptional organization and project management skills; comfortable juggling multiple initiatives

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and client-facing teams

  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms

  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for solving real problems

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in eCommerce, SaaS, or technology-driven products

  • Exposure to data visualization or analytics products

  • Basic technical literacy in modern web applications and APIs

🏙 You’ll Be Based in Symphony Towers, one of San Diego’s premier office spaces, featuring:

  • Stunning views of the city and coastline

  • Free access to the building gym

  • Discounts at restaurants and cafes in the tower

  • Secure bike storage and 24/7 paid parking nearby

  • Walking distance to 100+ bars, restaurants, and coffee shops

Our office is designed for focus and collaboration, with:

  • Ergonomic standing desks and high-quality workstations

  • A fully stocked snack bar, espresso machine, and cold drinks

  • Comfortable team lounge areas and bright workspaces

  • A modern, clean environment built for doing great work

🎁 Benefits & Perks

Our people are our #1 priority. Benefits include:

  • Multiple medical plan options through Anthem Blue Cross

  • Pet benefit program with savings on vet care and products

  • Paid vacation (accruing up to 120+ hours/year with rollover and cap)

  • Paid holidays annually

💵 Compensation Transparency

We believe in paying for impact, not just tenure — and we’re happy to have open conversations throughout the process.
