Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. Within RBS, the Wealth & Private Team is responsible for the full spectrum of a customer’s wealth needs. It comprises teams focussed on wealth creation and wealth protection, ranging from mass market to mass affluent to high-net-worth customer segments.

Do work that matters
The Product Manager role is a 12 month max term/ secondment contract based in our Wealth Transformation squad supporting Commonwealth Bank Private Wealth’s product Roadmap. This role is primarily aligned to our Expansion of our Private Wealth Advantage product within internal distribution channels for Commonwealth Bank more broadly.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership: Identifying Gaps and challenges that exist in distribution across multi-channelled domains. Including Relationship management, Dual-client management across various segments with Commonwealth Bank.
Stakeholder Management: Engage and influence stakeholders across Private Bank and broader domains within CBA. To ensure outcomes meet broader group strategy in a timely manner.
Co-Ordination of management: Working with Executive and General Management across Business Units to ensure that outcomes are achieved and appropriately communicated/presented. This includes co-ordinating workshops and preparing material and updates where required.
Continuous improvement: Appropriately identifying gaps in outcomes when required whilst identifying key stakeholders required to assist in delivering change.
Skills & Capabilities
Decision Making & Critical Thinking: Ability to analyse complex situations and make informed decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Comfortable to manage and pro-actively communicate a wide array of key Stakeholders including Group Executives when Required.
Story Telling: Strong ability to tell and capture a story requiring decision making and capturing of ideas to progress outcomes.
Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge in Banking and Wealth Distribution channels. Specifically, customer journeys through these channels.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
Exposure to Banking products with a background in digital delivery, engagement or distribution, preferably covering investing, SMSF or wealth products.
Ability to take ownership of work and deliver outcomes in ambiguous or changing environment
Ability to think analytically and use data and insights to make decisions
Demonstrated experience managing products across the lifecycle from concept to end of life
Strong internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills
Agile trained or experience in Agile ceremonies and project tracking platforms (JIRA)
Sound commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
Sound problem solving capability
Strong time management, organisational and confident presentation skills
We operate in a hybrid working environment, meaning a blend between being in the office and working remote.
