You’ll join a cross-functional, dynamic team building healthcare data APIs to support more effective and affordable healthcare. The team you'll join is responsible for maintaining and enhancing high volume healthcare benefit and claim APIs that ingest and stream ~350 million claim changes and ~7 million requests every month. We’d love to find someone who is a great fit to take the product helm on the project team, and can also help Verdance develop a strong product practice closely attuned to the needs of the civic tech space.
Here are our top priorities for this role:5+ years of product management experience
Deep experience with product management of APIs
Significant bonuses:
Healthcare or claims API experience
Any prior professional exposure with mainframes or COBOL
Impeccable written and verbal communication and presentation skills, which you’ll apply to bring clarity and alignment to the complex government health tech space
Ability to deeply understand and balance design, research, engineering, and stakeholder constraints and priorities
Strong product artifact creation skills
A deep understanding of how to monitor product metrics to ensure software features are performing as expected
Ability to fluidly manage a backlog of user stories and tasks that reflects product priorities
Interest and experience in building an org-wide product management practice
Desire to learn about government and help make it better

140-167k salary range (depending on seniority)
