To accelerate adoption, reduce churn, and strengthen our competitive edge, we’re hiring a Product Manager (Businesses & Teams) to own this critical area. This role will focus on delivering both table-stakes functionality and differentiated extensibility that helps businesses build, deploy, and manage intelligent systems more effectively. This is both a strategic and hands-on role: you’ll define product vision while also rolling up your sleeves to scope, wireframe, and prototype solutions.
Who we’re looking for:
A strategic, outcomes-oriented Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of infrastructure, APIs, and AI. You’re skilled at balancing user needs with business objectives and excel in fast-paced, technical environments. You’re motivated by building tools that empower teams, reduce complexity, and scale with business growth.
The ideal candidate will:
- Own the business and extensibility feature set (deployments, branching, CICD, RBAC, observability).
- Translate customer workflows into actionable product roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities where Xano can differentiate beyond table-stakes, shaping how teams build in the agentic era.
- Drive measurable impact on Pro/Custom adoption, retention, and ARR growth. Comfortable working end-to-end, from defining vision down to detailed UX flows, wireframes, story maps, and feature scoping.
What you’ll be doing:
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy for business and extensibility features.
- Lead the roadmap for Pro/Custom workflows, including CICD, RBAC, branching, and advanced observability.
- Partner with engineering and design to deliver sustainable, scalable features. Translate product vision into UX flows, wireframes, and story maps to align cross-functional teams.
- Work with sales and customer success to unblock deals and improve enterprise retention.
- Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and churn metrics to prioritize initiatives. Build and validate concepts using AI prototyping tools (e.g., mock APIs, agent workflows, or UX flows) to accelerate alignment and iteration.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and detailed scoping of features for business-focused initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market positioning of key features.
- Measure success via adoption uplift, churn reduction, and feature delivery velocity.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI infrastructure, no-code/low-code, and developer tooling.
Your Competencies:
- Strong product sense and ability to identify impactful opportunities in infrastructure and enterprise workflows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; fluent in data-driven decision-making.
- Proven experience building enterprise-grade features for business customers (bonus if in APIs, developer tools, or infrastructure).
- Strong leadership and ability to influence across engineering, design, sales, and success.
- Familiarity with backend systems, CICD, or developer workflows (bonus: exposure to AI or agent frameworks).
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Hands-on with wireframing, story mapping, and UX flows; able to independently produce product artifacts that guide execution. Comfortable leveraging AI prototyping tools to rapidly explore solutions and de-risk product decisions.
- Agile mindset and proficiency with modern PM tools (Notion, Jira, Linear, Airfocus).
- Customer-first perspective with a focus on retention and long-term adoption.
We are a BYOD company and this role will require the use of your own laptop/computer.
