About the role

Albert is seeking a Product Manager to drive innovation at the intersection of laboratory workflows, structured data, and AI-driven insights. You will play a key role in shaping the product roadmap, ensuring that scientists, chemists, and researchers can seamlessly capture, analyze, and act on their data using intuitive, intelligent tools.

This role will focus on building AI-powered and data-driven experiences that enhance scientific decision-making, while ensuring usability and trust for non-data scientists. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver best-in-class products that help scientists unlock the full potential of their data.

What you'll do

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for tools that enhance data-driven decision-making in scientific workflows.
  • Work closely with scientists and lab professionals to deeply understand workflows, challenges, and pain points.
  • Design intuitive solutions that support structured data collection, analysis, and automation across R&D processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to integrate AI/ML models, ensuring they deliver actionable insights while maintaining scientific integrity.
  • Develop tools that make explainable AI (XAI) and data analytics accessible to non-data scientists.
  • Improve reporting and BI tools to help users visualize, explore, and act on experimental data.
  • Partner with UX and design teams to create intuitive interfaces that simplify complex scientific processes.
  • Define and track key success metrics, leveraging data to prioritize features and continuously improve the product.

Qualifications

  • 4-10 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or scientific/technical software.
  • Strong understanding of scientific R&D workflows, laboratory environments, or data-intensive processes.
  • Experience building AI, ML, or data-driven products is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with explainable AI (XAI) and making AI/ML models accessible to non-experts is a strong plus.
  • Strong data visualization and reporting experience to drive user-friendly analytics and insights.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific workflows into intuitive, scalable software solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to align cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
  • Technical fluency and ability to work closely with engineering teams on AI and structured data integration.
  • Passion for improving scientific workflows through smart automation, AI, and user-centered design.
