Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers.
Part of Wealth and Private, the Insurance Retail and Advice Partnerships Crew team has end-to-end responsibility for CommBank’s partnerships with AIA, Hollard, Petsure and Howden.
We support the proprietary digital and frontline sales and service teams to meet our customers’ needs for Insurance and Retail Advice.

The General Insurance Awareness and Leads squad’s goal is to develop compelling and sustainable customer propositions and manage the product lifecycle through a deep understanding of customer outcomes and needs and connecting them to business objectives.
This role will give you the opportunity to work with dedicated, passionate and highly knowledgeable leaders in the Insurance and Retail Advice field. In any given week you will
- Conducting an analysis of complaints and NPS data, forming insights and recommendations
- Understanding and representing the voice of the customer
- Creating internal communications to help enable impactful change
- Develop business cases and implementation plans, driving transformational projects, and tracking the progress of initiatives against the strategy and defined success metrics
- Work jointly with our external business partners, Hollard, Petsure and Howden
- Regularly liaise and collaborate with internal/external business stakeholders and partners to influence product design, features, pricing and policy to ensure they meet our customers’ needs
- Design the end-to-end customer experience, and distribution processes in various channels (including Branch, Direct Banking and Digital)
- Leverage data analysis and “deep dives” to determine any risks and opportunities and recommend and implement actions to optimise the P&L, or customer outcome
- Ensure products meet regulatory, compliance and legal requirements, including complying with Group policies for product development or management
We're interested in hearing from people with:
- Analytical and problem-solving capability
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to balance risk, customer and business performance outcomes
- Experience in Retail Banking and/or Wealth/Insurance would be advantageous
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple streams of work, effectively prioritising and delivering to deadlines
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and navigate around ambiguity
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- A risk and analytical mindset – ability to identify, assess and escalate any potential risks relating to change communications or future deliverables across Crews
- An eye for detail with the ability to produce high quality work without supervision
- Project management, communications or OCM experience will be valuable but not essential
